Daily F&B Briefing (ABN 98 426 635 630) (“we”, “us”) is an Australian sole trader business. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address, and your name, role and company if you choose to provide them.

We also record the date, time and IP address of your subscription, as a record of your consent.

When you use the site or open our emails, our providers may automatically record technical information including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and whether you opened an email or clicked a link.

Why we collect it

Who we share it with

We use Brevo to manage subscriptions and deliver email. Brevo is based in the European Union and stores subscriber data on servers outside Australia.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may disclose information where required by law.

Overseas disclosure

By subscribing, you acknowledge that your details will be stored and processed outside Australia, including in the European Union.

Unsubscribing

Every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can use it at any time and we will stop sending. We keep a record of your unsubscribe request so that we do not contact you again.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track individuals across websites. It records aggregate information only, such as pages visited, referring site and general device type.

Cloudflare also provides our hosting and security. It may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site against malicious traffic. We do not use cookies for advertising.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No online transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
